The successful applicant will be proactive driven, innovative, and articulate. Essential Duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Participation in the design process and ability to create strong technical documents reflecting the design intent.
- Display knowledge of industry standards, building codes, trends, and architectural advancements
- Well rounded knowledge of the architecture profession and workflow
- Knowledge of building components, construction materials, standards, and codes
- Develop and support client relationships
- Participate in the development of technical drawings utilizing industry standard softwares
- Write Technical Specifications utilizing various software including MasterSpec, SpecsIntact, etc.
- Create cost estimates utilizing RS Means Estimating Software
- Create drawing mark-ups for emerging architects and draftspersons to execute
- Observe construction progress and provide construction administration services
- Lead the Quality Control process on projects
- Mentor junior staff
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8 years minimum experience as a licensed practicing architect. Additional Qualifications include:
- Accredited (NAAB) Bachelor and / or Master of Architecture
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Positive and Collaborative Attitude
- Strong Communication, Presentation, and Organizational skills
- Growth Mindset
- Willingness to occasionally travel depending upon project specific requirements
